 The Google Adsense program can be an extremely powerful way to make money online. If you own a website that receives good levels of traffic then you have a good opportunity to make money with adsense. The first step is to apply for the adsense program and the website you use to apply is important. Make sure that your site looks professional and complete. Make sure to add a custom channel for your site so you can check the effectiveness of the current ads on your site. It is very easy to setup, just click on the ‘add channels’ link and then click ‘custom channels’ and then add in the url of the site you want to track. Also be sure to add the ads towards the middle of your pages if possible. This is the part of the page that most people focus on so putting ads there will get them noticed much more.

Your ads must blend into your site as much as possible. Removing borders from the ads is a good way to get people to notice the ads more since the borders tend to cause people to ignore the ads since they subconsciously associate the borders with advertising. Also if the links on your site are red then make sure the links in the ads are also red. Also if you can, try to get the size of the text in your ads to be the same as those of your site.

Make sure to add at least one ad unit at the bottom of the page, this will give your visitors somewhere to go once they have finished reading the content on that page. A 468 x 15 link unit at the bottom of the page can also work well as it will look like a natural part of the navigation on your site. Also a 468×15 link unit at the top of the page can also be effective as long as it fits in well with the navigation.

Also use html tables to add some ad units directly into article content by having the content wrap around the ads. A good way to do this is to add a 336×280 or 250×250 ad unit depending on the width of your text under the main title and then you can add maybe one more under another sub header. Remember to never squeeze your content otherwise you will lose visitors since they cannot read your articles easily. Do not diminish the user experience to try to increase your click through rates.

Most visitors expect some ads on a site so add them in as discreetly and naturally as possible. Also make sure that the niche you are in has many adwords advertisers because this will ensure more relevant ads and also a better pay per click since the average bid will be higher. I coach with many coaches across the country to help them build their practices. A common problem most of them have in their business is having only one source of referrals. Many of the Dave Ramsey coaches I talk with rely solely on Daves company to send them all of their referrals. This is also a problem that I see not only in services businesses, but also with businesses selling traditional products.

As a Certified Dave Ramsey Coach myself, my market is a very small one for Dave Ramsey. As a result I have had to build models and streams of referrals that do not depend entirely on one organization sending prospects to me. I even consider anything that Daves company sends directly to me as icing on the cake, where many others rely nearly 100% on this one source.

When working directly with any Dave Ramsey Coach, I would prefer they be in a small market for Dave Ramsey because they must quickly learn to rely on building their business on more than one referral stream. Any time you are reliant on one source for anything in a business, risk enters the picture. What if someone else comes into your market that was trained by Dave Ramsey? Immediately your referrals could be cut in half. What if Dave Ramseys company decides to no longer send prospects to you? Again, your business dries up. What if your one buyer decides to branch out and find a cheaper product?

The importance of having more than one stream of referrals has never been more important. Take a look at where the majority of clients and customers in your business come from. Can you expand to reach other areas? As you do I guarantee your income will soar.

 Okay so you did not go to college and it is hard to get a good job. A lot of people think that college is the answer to everything in the job and business world but they do not know that 60 out of the 100 richest people in the world just graduated high school. The thing that makes it so easy and you do not have to have tons of money is the internet.

They also have limited time off and need permission for that time off.

If you figure it out for the hours they put in a week they are actually only making $17 an hour. With this you can make up to $200-$500 an hour depending on how good you are. I know people who work 2 hours a day and make $1000. They have the rest of the day to spend time with their families and friends. Also, you never have to call in sick because you are your own boss. You decide everything and that is probably one of the most rewarding aspects. If you want the day to spend with your family you do not have to worry about what your boss is going to say. You always have the option as to whether or not you want to work. It is important to remember though that in order to be successful you have to put in the time and effort.

I take success as how much time you get to spend with family and friends. The thing is these days people are always working and they say there fun years were when they were in school. I personally do not agree with that and think that from 22-70 should be the best years of your life.

Another thing is that people are working until they are 65-70 because they do not have enough money to retire. I think that the retirement age should be much less and hopefully this program will allow people to retire much sooner. We tend to live to work instead of work to live and that should not be the way of life.

If you choose to become an affiliate you should be able to retire sooner and enjoy your life by doing what you want instead of waking up to work each day.

Do You Have A Get Rich Quick Mentality Towards Home Business Ideas And Opportunities?

 Just how many home business ideas and opportunities are out there? There are hundreds, if not thousands. Most are genuine opportunities, however, even with that many fail. Often the glossy brochures with the income potentials can make us have that get rich quick mentality.

The purpose of those potential figures on brochures has been misinterpreted. Those figures are generally for showing that really there are no limits. It is meant to state that how ever much drive and ambition you have, you can realize it.

Many people dont understand it is like that, and instead focus on believing that those figures are what they will achieve in the home business opportunity. There are many home business ideas and opportunities, and it is not necessarily true that we will achieve those figures.

You see, we get what we put in. In fact most of the time you will never truly receive the value you put in. So if you see those home business opportunities telling you that you can make $100,000 this year or even a cool $1,000,000, and you put lets say a million dollars worth of effort, you will likely make $100,000.

Why is that? The key is value. When you buy a TV for example, that cost a couple of thousand of dollars. You are only paying that money because your perception is that there is more value in the TV. To illustrate this further, if someone offered you the same TV but with a smashed screen, you would very unlikely want to pay that $2,000!

Right here, we have come to a point of understanding. We now realize that to earn those nice looking figures that are often used to entice us in joining a home business opportunity or even an MLM opportunity, we know we need to give extra value.

The problem is that most people start a home business opportunity and believe that it will make them rich, without giving more effort than they would in a $20,000 a year day job. This is unfortunate, as most fail because they believe just that.

Take 100 of those committed people who join a MLM opportunity or a home business opportunity, and you will find that only 1-5 people will achieve those figures. The truth is that even though they were optimistic about the results, and though they may have had doubts and fears, they put in less effort than the 9-5 job that pays $20,000.

It is a strange coincidence that we hold such a belief, but it is true. Most people dont just treat a home business professionally. Our eyes may fool us into believing we can achieve it for less effort. And here we add less value and thus we get less out of it.

Have you ever considered how much your value is in a day job? When you earn $20,000 or even $30k, $40k, $50k or more, just how much value you are putting in? When people rise in a job it is because they are giving more value. An MLM opportunity or any other home business idea can only work because it is designed for people who want to put in the effort, and get the results which no day job can provide.
